Winners...

In my excitement yesterday of telling you all about Eddie, I completely forgot to announce who won the tennis match. (Scoot pointed this out to me last night after reading my post). Anyways, Martin and Scooter were the winners! YAY!!!

Put A Ring On It

Two weeks ago, Scoot and Marty played as doubles partners in the City Tournament at Hamilton Park. They made it to the finals and played their good friends Robert Ernst and Wes Luxton. It was such a great match, and everyone came out to watch. The guys are getting old, but I'll give them credit because they played so hard that week. I think they might still be recovering from the shock that they gave their bodies.

Afterwards, a few of us went to BWW for drinks. We had the best time! It was karaoke night, which wasn't great because we wanted to visit and instead our voices were drowned out by the sounds of not so great vocalists. BUT, the highlight of our night came when our waiter, Eddie, performed for the restaurant. He got on the stage and danced to Beyonce's Put a Ring On It. It was AWESOME! He knew their whole routine and didn't miss a beat. I wish I would have videoed it because he did such a great job, and it was hilarious. Eddie has since moved out of WF, but maybe one day he'll come back to his stomping grounds and will perform again for you all to see.

A New Home

Yesterday one of my little friends tells me that he desperately needs to find a home for a yorkie that he purchased for his girlfriend. They are still dating, but she lives at home and dad says no dogs. So... my sweet friend April has been wanting a yorkie for months and now she has one!!! I called her yesterday and let her know that Bentley was in need of a new home. She said no at first since she wanted a little girl, but after sleeping on it, thinking non-stop about it, and seeing pics of Bentley, she fell in love. Bentley now has a new loving home, and I can't wait for my Bentley amd Kingston to meet her little guy. Congratulations Paschall Family on your newest addition!!!

Dogs on the Loose

Saturday was such a great day. I spent the day hanging out with my sister and sister-in-law at the pool. That evening a bunch of us went over to our friend Ryan Pruner's to watch UFC 100. Before we even got there, my sister and I had an adventure... As you all know my sister and I love animals, especially dogs. We see 2 CRAZY golden retreivers on the loose on Seymour Rd and try to return them to their home. After 45 minutes, dogs locking themselves in my running car and being attacked (lovingly) by one of them that decided to go for a quick swim in the pool, we were free to finish making our way to Pruners. As we are getting in the car to leave, here come the dogs running 100 miles an hour right at us. They had escaped again! We have no idea where they decided to run to, but I am thinking they made it home or the owners would have been calling us again. We finally make it to pruner's and enjoy all the wonderful food that was made, a few drinks, and watched the fight.

Battle at Hamilton

Hello friends! Scooter and Martin have been playing doubles this week in the city tennis tournament, and tonight they are in the finals!!!! At 7pm, they will take on our good friends Robert Ernst and Wes Luxton for bragging rights. That's about all they'll get, but to them sweating it out in temps over 100 degrees is worth it if that can win. I'll be out there sweating right along with them, but sitting my butt in the shade and sipping diet coke from my Sonic cup. Tomorrow I will post pics of the winners, losers, and some shots of them in action. But up next is pics from Saturday night...

Fourth of July

It was nice to have a long holiday weekend to relax and spend with the family. I spent a lot of time at the pool, while Scoot spent a lot of time golfing. This year for the Fourth of July we went over to my in-laws for a fun filled day of swimming and a cookout. I decided to be super festive and bought a red bikini with white stars for the days' festivities. There will not be a picture of me in my bikini for this post. Sorry... That evening a bunch of us went downtown for some live music and fireworks. We were only there about 30 minutes before it started to pour on us, but I took a few pics before the rain for your enjoyment. Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday!
